The VariStroke-I is a linear electrohydraulic actuator designed to provide linear actuation force for steam turbine inlet valves or valve racks. This integrated actuator is intended for use on steam turbines and operates with a low-pressure hydraulic oil source.
The accuracy and resolution of the VariStroke-I make it ideal for controlling steam turbine valves, turbine speed, and related load control. The VariStroke-I electronic module accepts one or two redundant 4–20 mA position demand signals to position the valve control.
