TQ902 Vibration sensors

The Meggitt TQ902 is a standard-mount sensor designed and manufactured for long-term use in environments characterized by high temperatures and/or hazardous areas (potentially explosive atmospheres).

Designed for non-contact measurement of relative vibration and axial displacement in turbines, compressors, pumps and fans.

Note: Meggitt TQ902 and Meggitt TQ912 transducers have the same specifications and performance characteristics, but are intended for applications with different installation (mounting) requirements: the TQ902 is a standard-mount transducer and the TQ912 is an inverted-mount transducer.

Technical specifications :

• 8 mV/µm or 2.5 µA/µm (2 mm range), 4 mV/µm or 1.25 µA/µm (4 mm range), -40 to 180°C, Ø8.2 mm tip, standard mounting.
• Measuring range 2 or 4 mm (Ø8.2 mm sensor).
• Operating temperature -40 to 180°C, IP68 protection.
• Integral coaxial cable 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 or 5.0 m.
• Compliant with API 670, 5th edition.
• Versions certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
