NCG teams have replaced the hydraulic system that operates the Woodward UG40-D control valve and mechanical regulator on an industrial site. The aim of this GTA control modernization was to increase the overall reliability of the plant.
BEFORE:
Mechanical regulation has been replaced by Woodward electronic regulation in conjunction with a robust and reliable Woodward servo distributor for optimized operation. A Woodward 2-out-of-3 overspeed protection has also been implemented to ensure machine protection against overspeed conditions.

- Woodward 505D Digital Regulator
- Woodward Protech GII Overspeed Protection
- Woodward Varistroke Servo Distributor
- Woodward MPU Speed Sensors
