The new generation 505D digital steam turbine controller, user-configurable and front-panel mounted, features an advanced multilingual HMI interface display. The new 505D builds on the robust and reliable 505 platform, which has proven itself worldwide.
“It now features extended communication protocols, intelligent/adaptive control algorithms, and advanced service tools with data logging, monitoring, and control via RemoteView. This model has a low-voltage power input of 18-36 Vdc and is designed for a standard Class 1, Div. 2 location.
The 505 controller is housed in a rugged industrial enclosure designed to be front-panel mounted, either in a plant control room or near the turbine.
The user-friendly front panel allows engineers to program the unit according to specific plant needs, and operators can easily start/stop the turbine and activate/deactivate any control mode.
Password security in the controller protects all programming mode settings.
The controller’s 21 cm (8.4 inch) graphic display allows operators to view real-time values and apply setpoints, simplifying operations.
Wiring is done on the lower rear panel of the controller. Non-pluggable terminal blocks enable easy system installation, troubleshooting, and replacement.
