The 505XT controller is designed to operate a single valve or single extraction/admission industrial steam turbines of any size and application. This steam turbine controller includes algorithms and logic specifically designed for starting, stopping, controlling, and protecting industrial steam turbines. It is specially engineered to manage steam turbines or turbo-expanders driving generators, compressors, pumps, or industrial fans.
The 505XT controller is housed in a rugged industrial enclosure designed to be mounted in a system control panel located in a power plant control room or near the turbine. The front panel serves both as a programming station and an Operator Control Panel (OCP).
This user-friendly front panel allows engineers to program the unit according to the plant’s specific requirements and enables operators to easily start/stop the turbine and activate/deactivate any control mode. A password protects all programming mode settings.
The 8.4-inch (21.3 cm) graphic display allows operators to view actual and setpoint values on the same screen, simplifying turbine operation.
